Only 3,168 Chevy SS's were made in 2015 - 313 were this color and
only 24 were made with a sunroof, spare tire & manual - rare indeed.

I ordered this from Holz Motors in Hales Corners, WI on January 26, 2015
and took delivery July 29, 2015 - It was a VERY long wait.

Some of the more popular features are,

• 6.2L V-8 (LS3), delivering an SAE-certified 415 horsepower and 415 lb.-ft. of torque.

• TREMEC TR6060 6-speed manual transmission (only 20.5 percent of all SS's were manuals).

• Final drive ratio of 3.70 axle for a 0 to 60 time of 5 seconds.

• Brembo brakes with four-piston calipers and 14" front rotors and 14.2-inch rear rotors.

• 19 x 8.5-inch wheels with 245/40ZR19 tires in front; 19 x 9-inch wheels with 275/35ZR19 tires at the rear.

• Magnetic ride control with Driver-selectable Tour, Sport, Performance & Track modes.

• Launch control.

• Nearly 50/50 weight distribution and a low center of gravity – attributes made possible in part by the aluminum hood and rear deck lid that are 30 percent lighter than traditional steel panels.

This car is all original except for the following,

• Chevy Motorsport red intake cover instead of the factory all black one (which you will get with the sale).

• Skip shift cable to avoid the 1st to 4th shift.

• Elite Engineering oil catch can to keep oil out of the intake.

• Dimple super magnetic drain plug and a FilterMag oil filter magnet.

• Roto-Fab cold air intake which just looks nice. You will also receive the original airbox.

• Red Tail dual exhaust tips. You will also receive the original tips.

This car also has an XPEL clear bra on the front, sides and rear of the car to help prevent stone chips and has multiple coats of Opti-Coat ceramic coating for its incredible shine.  The car has always been stored in a heated garage over the winter and has only been caught in the rain a few times.

Firestone 500 tires were installed 900 miles ago (last summer), not because the originals were worn out (they had almost half their tread left), but because they were terrible and lacked any kind of decent traction. Having almost half the tread life left after 15,000 miles is pretty much unheard of with this car.  Although I have had fun with it, burnouts and drifting is not something I have ever had interest in.

• Original owner’s manual & window sticker. 

• The original never installed front license plate bracket and rivets.

• An exterior car cover because it is thick heavy for added protection & the original floor mats. MAXpider custom fit mats are currently in the car front and back and a WeatherTech trunk liner to protect the factory carpet is back there too.

• The 4 book Helm service manual set and new car sales brochure.

• You also get the original brake pads and rotors which have approximately 5,000 miles on them (very dusty). PowerStop Z26 Performance Carbon-Fiber Ceramic pads & matching drilled rotors were installed (no dust). 

• AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, the fun of owning a rare, fast and incredibly comfortable, fun car to drive that nobody knows what it is. Always a hit at the car show.

Why am I selling it?  It has been a fun 8 years but it is time for something different.
I will probably regret this some day.
